Training

Onelan media players are designed specifically for Un-Managed systems where the client wants full control of their Digital Signage system and the frequency of updating it. We offer full on site training with these systems. The software used on the Managed systems (350, 550 & 650 players) is more complex but if you require this system and want to take ownership of it then we will look to see if on site training can be provided, please note that good computer skills are essential to use this software.

Training

Screen Layouts

Designing a screen layout is the first step in creating your display, adding different media types and manipulating their size and position is also covered.

Adding Content

This is where we specify what pictures, movies, RSS feeds, HTML links etc gets added to our screen and what shape and size they will occupy on the display.

Screen Component Design

This is the creation of fully rendered still images from templates. These images form important screen components such as banners and backgrounds.

Screen Updating

The updating of existing designs by changing the media, RSS feeds, HTML links and scrolling text messages, this is achieved with the SWEP software.

The Administrator

This role requires some technical abilities and experience and is mainly involved in the setup of the system, they have no role in the everyday running of the screens or updating them.

The User

The user requires little technical or artistic skills, the SWEP software takes care of most things with the user making minor changes to content for any updates.
